Google announced a pilot project of including streaming video within google adsense. The initiatives taken on by google with video adsense include “Click-To-Play Video Ads”, “AdSense Video Distribution and Sponsorship” and “AdSense For Video Pilot”.
Click-to-play video ads may appear on a publishers site who has chosen to show image and text ads from one of the supported formats (most likely 468×60 and cube styled ads). Within adsense video distribution, google has allowed publishers to choose video channels to display on their sites. And furthermore, the adsense for video pilot allows video publishers to decide at what point in their streaming videos that the adsense ads will appear (for video publishers).
